"I love living here at ABV. I moved here when occupancy was only at 30%. I have seen this property go through a lot of ups and downs over the past years. The one great consistency is the Maintenance Supervisor LyPondra (LaLa). She's the only reason I stayed during the turbulent times at ABV. I just love her! However now, the entire staff is amazing! The property manager JV is on point with everything and very knowledgeable! I just love her too. Christine keeps it real and keeps things in that office flowing. She is a hoot! Tiffany handles things and double checks to make sure that task are done timely. So yeah, I am EXTREMELY happy here now and I hope the Staff never changes for as long as they are here I will be here. They all spoil me actually and I love it. I live in what's considered the Penthouse of the building! Lol, yep, they make me feel that special and I am here for it! I love my ABV family!"
"Happy more equipment was added to the gym, but disappointed that I constantly see trash left out over night. In some cases residents leave trash out Friday until it gets picked up on Sunday. It stinks up the halls & I’ve seen that it’s attracting bugs! I received a violation warning when I was brand new @ forgot to bring in my empty trash can before 9am. Possibly residents are leaving trash out at anytime of the day because they never receive a warning. It’s definitely a bad look & smells up the complex."
"Renewed my lease because it is such a wonderful place to be a part of! Just wish the door across from the chevron would open again. I also wish we did not have fetch because of many packages that have not gotten to my apartment in time or have been lost."
"We have been here 3 years and have enjoyed it, however there have been so many changes not only with pandemic but with the neighborhood as well.
I feel the vibe was a bit different before covid and there was more of a sense of community.
Neighbors are sometimes selfish and don't always pick up trash or leave dog feces in hallways.
I have to say it has been the safest property in the area, there have been many garage break ins nearby.
Management is not always looking out for the good of the resident, they don't make you feel comfortable on a personal level. it is more corporate and you are just an occupant. The team with community events was much more vibrant and stronger before.
Besides that, it is a decent place, neighborhood is just rough."
"Apartments are very up-to-date with high ceilings, wine fridges, spacious kitchens with large island counter and subway tile backsplash. Pool area is a good size and clean. Fitness area could be updated a bit with certain equipment but overall has everything you would need for a work out including a peloton bike and yoga area. Visitors parking is limited but parking is available on the streets surrounding the building as well."
"The Alexan team is responsive and friendly. The apartments are spacious and well appointed. The garage gates can be frustrating at times and the noise from outside the apartment (cars revving engine, playing loud ) can be annoying, but that isn't the building's fault."
"Apartments themselves are fantastic but that's about the only perk. Things are always broken, management is difficult to work with, and we just keep having issue after issue. Not to mention crime in the area. Will miss this place but at the same time be very happy to be gone when I leave."

"Our apartment is spacious and comfortable- the kitchen is huge and has tons of storage. The management staff is friendly and helpful. Only cons are A) it can be very loud, especially with sound coming from the street and B) the increase in crime in and around here has been alarming and it would be nice to have the building acknowledge it and send safety reminders/updates or even better, have a security presence- especially on nights and weekends"

"ABV is a nice apartment complex. It’s very quiet, neighbors are not loud on our floor. The main road gets noisy but overall a safe place to live. There a few situations that I have not been too happy about but the good has out weighed the bad."
"Honestly I can’t stand the leasing staff. It’s always different people who don’t care about you at all. We pay more rent than anyone else here and if it weren’t for the hassle for the hassle of moving we’d be gone by now. "Great location for young adults, close to lots of popular bars, BEAUTIFUL apartments with updated appliances yet still extremely affordable in comparison with other apartments in the area. Maintenance is very quick to respond and very helpful with any and all maintenance requests. There is even a great little dog park for the dogs here, its a little smelly but maintenance tries to clean it regularly-- could use a little improvement there. Otherwise I'm IN LOVE with this apartment and I never want to move!"

I have lived at Alexan Buckhead Village for 9 months now and have thoroughly enjoyed the property. The apartment I have is spacious and new, while the amenities are spectacular. The walls are a bit thin and have made working from home difficult though. Otherwise, it's a great place to live."
"I love living here. The aesthetic of the apartment is great - I get compliments from anybody who comes over. The location is the best part about it. I can walk to the store, to restaurants and even my yoga class in under 10 minutes. Plus the staff is so nice and quick to respond to any issues"

"Wish there was a concierge/24/7 front desk. Front desk staff are there 9-5 and rarely answer the phone. Also hate the Fetch package system, I find it quite inconvenient. Loading dock only being open until 5 when you’re moving in is quite annoying and difficult as well. Hallways are also very long and confusing. Now for the good stuff: apartment is huge and so so beautiful. I’m big on cooking and baking and this kitchen is amazing and the walk in closet is any girl’s dream. Bathroom could have more storage but it’s manageable."

- The stairwells were often dirty
- we constantly heard our neighbors (walking, tv, everything)
- the dog park is small
- leasing office wasn’t always responsive
- package stolen (despite the fetch program)
- needing a separate package was complicated and led to lost packages from loved ones"
"The community has gone down hill since I first moved in. There is sheet wall broken /falling on my level. The pool is pretty gross and there is never any sanitation wipes in the gym. For the price we pay it is not great anymore"

"Everything has been fantastic. The staff in the office have been helpful and all the other services the building offers have been seamless.
The hallways have been quiet and clean as well as the community facilities such as the gym and lounge area.

"None of the amenities are open regular hours "due to COVID" when in reality if they were open regular hours people could better social distance because they would naturally spread out when they were using them (i.e. the gym only being open from 7am-8pm is ridiculous)."

"So far has been very nice. Move in was simple. The apartment was in good order before move in. There were a few items that were really fixed within the first week after move in. The kitchen is spacious. Once the weather damage on some of the cabinets is taken care of it will be beautiful."
"My first year was AMAZING! Now I hate it most of the times. The garbage stinks, they have toxic spray to try to cover the garbage smell, and now her huge garbage can sit outside. So now all I smell is garbage stinky toxic spray and dog P I can’t even enjoy being on my porch.
When I moved in last year I was promised there would not be any toxic sprays in the halls in the common areas are anywhere on this property. I have MCS and it’s making me sick to even live here. I’m at a loss as to what to do about it. Other than going to the top people that own the place. I’m very disheartened over this because I really loved this place when I first moved in.
I also moved in for the saltwater pool because I’m sick I need exercise even in the winter months. The pool is always dirty has a funky feel on your skin and is never warm. Since living here anyone pressure wash and try to clean the dog area. All they do is spray more toxic spray on top of it to make the P smell go away that doesn’t work."
"I’ve lived here a year. I don't have any complaints. Any issues I’ve had have been resolved. If anything I’d say it’s minor things with residents behavior. But that will happen anywhere. I don’t hold it against the actual building. I do wish that the bags for dog poop were checked more often. When they are available it’s great. When they run out it’s a stab in the dark when they will be refilled.
Also I swear that every Friday and Saturday night someone just opens their balcony door and blasts objectively bad music while what sounds like 10 other people scream into the courtyard."

We've had a few small issues but most of them have been addressed. Our oven light doesn't work, our bathroom sink pull is disconnected, and my keyfob randomly stopped working one day. During the day when the leasing office is open and a visitor ir a delivery comes if using the call box only the outside door will open and the elevator door remains closed, so the resident has to come down to get the visitor/delivery."

"I really love this apartment complex for the living aspects and how nice it is, however, getting started as a new resident has been a little bit of a nightmare. I moved in about a month ago and I still have not been set up on any portal or been able to sign my lease. I was taking over for a prior tenant and moving in with someone who was already a resident, so maybe that’s why it hasn’t been prioritized, but it just feels like I haven’t been able to get in contact with anyone. I understand that the virus has caused complications and understaffing and I am not at all angry about that or with the people who I have been contacting - it just hasn’t felt like I have even been recognized as someone who lives in the building and that’s been frustrating. It almost seems like my application wasn’t ever processed as they’ve had the wrong email (email of the prior tenant) and I haven’t been contacted once. I’ve had to reach out every time. I feel like I shouldn’t have to reach out every week to get set up as a tenant, especially since we began this process well over 2 months ago. My roommate is the only one who can get a response and that makes it feel even less like I’m part of this community. For the amount of money that it costs to live here, that is completely unacceptable."
"We absolutely love it here. Clean, quiet and cozy. Everyone is always so kind and helpful. Good secure environment. In love with the adjacent neighborhood with trees and wildlife. Which is pretty cool for being in the middle of the city. Extremely near to shopping and fine dining. You can walk or scooter...
We are very pleased with maintenance. We put in a ticket and they are Johnny on the spot with a smile on their face.... The amenities are stellar, and always clean. Most of all we feel safe here. Safe to walk our dog around the neighborhood any time of the day or night."
"I really like the neighborhood. Very close to everything, but not directly in the hustle and bustle of the city. However, my portal login has not been working for about 90% of the time I have lived here so far. I cannot pay my rent or submit a work order under my name. I have to go through my girlfriend's portal just to do so. The front office is always saying that they are "on top of it" and going to help me fix it, but they are very lackluster on that."

Hoping that you hire a manager that can be people savvy and can control the environment we live in as far as hand sanitizers and all that C 19 Awareness while managing this Apartment. I believe the common area should be opened with a head count of about 10 people and you just enter at your own risk."
"Enjoy living here. Despite COVID, I would like to have access to common areas, specifically the workout area. I would also like to see a greater pool area occupancy then 13. It should be based on # of units as people intra-unit have quarantined together. Grill area should be separate from pull area as there is sufficient space to social distance."
"In general, the building and employees are always on top of issues and communicate well to the residents. The only complaint we have would be the noise level from Pharr Road at night - better sound proofing would be ideal for cruising issues.
