A Costumed Music Experience in Atlanta
When most people think of Halloween, they think of scary scenery, creative costumes of pop culture figures or objects, candy stashes, trick-or-treating, and of course pumpkins and jack-o-lanterns galore. However, our luxury apartments at Alexan Buckhead Village offer some fresh nuance to the holiday, with several exciting Atlanta Halloween music events perfect for families of all ages.
If you’re a fan of costumes, movies, and music, then you should experience the Atlanta Symphony Orchestra’s October schedule. From October 20th to the 27th, there are three unique and fun concerts to attend: Superheroes & Villains, which features some of the most iconic scores and classical songs used to depict our favorite characters; the complimentary and colorful Dia De Los Muertos event on October 27th to bring Hispanic and Latin American culture to the forefront; and a live performance of John Williams’ fantastic score to Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban on the weekend right before Halloween. Each concert and special event encourage all of its attendees to arrive in full costume, and there’s even a contest to participate in during the Superheroes & Villains showings to showcase the scariest, funniest, cutest, and best-in-show. All the events are in the Atlanta Symphony Hall, which is only four miles away from our luxury apartments – a mere fifteen-minute drive. The Dia De Los Muertos event is free admission, and the rest require a ticket purchase online or at the door; seating will be limited, however, so be sure to order your seats early.
